Sarah Johnson was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Health Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Sarah completed Level II fieldwork in inpatient mental health and outpatient physical rehabilitation settings, where she developed a strong foundation in client-centered care. After earning her occupational therapy license and board certification in 2024, she began practicing in outpatient rehabilitation, further refining her skills in treating a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions. In July 2025, Sarah obtained her LSVT BIG certification to better serve individuals with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.
Her previous experience has shaped her particular interest in movement disorders and strengthened her commitment to promoting pain-free engagement in meaningful daily activities for her patients. Sarah is passionate about problem-solving and dedicated to helping individuals return to the activities that matter most to them with greater comfort, confidence, and independence. She is excited to bring her clinical expertise and patient-centered approach to the Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine team. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting, exercising, reading, and spending time at the beach.
