Julia Thiel (Julie) is a Board Certified Occupational Therapist from South Jersey. Julie attended Thomas Jefferson University - East Falls Campus in Philadelphia, PA for both her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, graduating in May 2018 and December 2019 respectively. During her time at Jefferson, Julie developed a passion for research and how Occupational Therapy plays an innovative role in health literacy, mental health, and supporting community wellness. Prior to her joining the Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine team, Julie has had experience working with adults in outpatient facilities with upper extremity injuries, neurological impairments, and pain management needs as well as running group Occupational Therapy programing in an inpatient mental health hospital. Julie is excited to be part of the multidisciplinary Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine team to continue to expand her knowledge of Occupational Therapy skills in relation to chiropractic care in order to continue to help others regain the abilities needed to complete favored activities of daily living. In her free time, Julie is an avid reader who enjoys crafts and exploring the Pine Barrens.
