Fengying (Brenda) Liang, a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist based in New Jersey has a unique background that has shaped her approach to traditional medicine. Originating from Liuzhou, a picturesque city known for its natural beauty in the mountains and waters of Guangxi province, China, her journey in medicine began at Guangxi Medical University where she earned a bachelor's degree in preventive medicine. Her pursuit of providing traditional medical care to the American population led her to the United States. She embarked on a new educational path enrolling at Pacific College of Health and Science to delve deeper into oriental medicine. There, she earned her master's degree in oriental medicine and has obtained state licenses. Her commitment to advancing her knowledge then prompted her to pursue a doctorate in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Brenda thinks that many illnesses are not just physical ailments but are closely tied to emotional imbalances and the body's immune system. With a holistic approach that combines acupuncture and herbal remedies, she has achieved remarkable success in treating a wide range of conditions, including cardiovascular issues, emotional disorders, digestive problems, and gynecological concerns. Her expertise also extends to addressing bodily pain, including neck, shoulder, back, and headache-related discomfort. Brenda is thrilled to be part of the dedicated medical team at Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine/Atlantic Health System where she collaborates with experts from various disciplines to assist patients in their journey towards pain relief and improved health. Outside of her professional life, Brenda has a deep passion for classic Chinese medicine texts and actively participates in various lectures to further enhance her skills and knowledge. Her commitment to Chinese medicine is unwavering and she is determined to help as many patients as possible. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and engaging in sports.
