Dr. Sannit Patel has been practicing acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation for over 10 years. He has practiced as a naturopathic doctor in India for 5 years after completing his medical education in both Naturopathic Medicine, Yoga, and Alternative Therapies until he came to the United States in 2017. He was chosen for a residency position at an in-patient naturopathic hospital in Pune, India thereafter he worked at a renowned out-patient clinic in Mumbai, India for 3 years where he was then promoted to the Head of Department of a hospital-based alternative medical clinic for 2 years. He also received training from a medically oriented Thai massage school in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and became certified as a Flex ologist in Orange County, CA. Sannit then went on to receive two degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture in Phoenix, AZ. And recently; Sannit has successfully treated hundreds of patients in downtown Philadelphia for injury, pain management, headaches, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and sports optimization. Many professional athletes seek his expertise with orthopedic and sports acupuncture. He is very excited to join the team at Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine & be in our multidisciplinary clinical services. Sannit loves traveling with his family & they have traveled to 8 countries in less than 5 years!
