Dr. Samantha Jerry

Dr. Samantha Jerry is a board-certified & licensed occupational therapist who is native to the Jersey Shore area. Samantha received her Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health with a minor in Studio Art from Stockton University. From there, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Western New England University's Doctor of Occupational Therapy Program. She has won numerous awards for her leadership skills & community involvement throughout her academic career. Samantha has clinical experience across a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, hand therapy, inpatient mental health, pediatric settings as well as community-based settings. She has treated a variety of conditions including, but not limited to, orthopedic injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, neuromuscular conditions, upper-extremity and hand pathologies, amputations, and cumulative trauma. Additionally, Samantha is a former decorated athlete who uses her personal athletic experiences in conjunction with her clinical knowledge and skills to treat athletes who are recovering from sports-related injuries and to help prevent injuries from occurring. A true people person, Samantha enjoys working with people of all ages and has a passion for treating conditions of the hands & upper extremities. She aspires to further her knowledge & clinical skills in this specialization area as well as to attain her credentials as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT). Outside of her passion for orthopedics, Samantha has also spent time volunteering with the Therapeutic Equestrian Center (Holyoke, MA) and with the Center for Human Development (Springfield, MA) working primarily with their adaptive recreational programs such as summer camp, sled hockey, fishing, and CrossFit. With a true passion for occupational therapy, she is thrilled to be joining the Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine team to help patients live their lives fully, happily, independently and pain free through a multidisciplinary approach. In her spare time, Samantha enjoys collecting sea glass, playing in her beach volleyball league, spending time hiking and camping with her dogs as well as going to New Jersey Devils games with friends and family.
