Dr. Nathaniel Proce

D.C.

Dr. Nathaniel Proce was born and raised in Knoxville, Maryland. His passion for the outdoors and various sports stem from his experiences as a wrestler and soccer player- two of his primary extracurriculars throughout his youth. His passion for wrestling led him to further continue his athletic career in college where he received a scholarship to attend Pennsylvania State University.

Dr. Proce is a former member of the NCWA Division 1 wrestling team at Pennsylvania State University where he earned the opportunity to attend the NCWA National Championship tournament, obtaining recognition as an Academic All American. However, throughout his athletic career, he faced various injuries that could only be maintained and alleviated through chiropractic care. Due to his extensive first-hand experiences, Dr. Proce set out to help athletes like himself enhance their athletic performance as well as aid in their recovery time.

Upon graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree, Dr. Proce went on to further his education graduating Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL. During his time in school, he studied under numerous clinicians and went to several seminars across the state. Additionally, Dr. Proce developed his enthusiasm for spreading chiropractic knowledge through teaching and presenting lectures to students and physicians on several topics throughout the field. After working with Dr. Mark Charrette and Dr. Michael Chance, two affluent mentors within the practice, Dr. Proce has become proficient in adjusting extremities and understanding how to listen to the patient and the body. At Palmer College, Dr. Proce also attended several sporting events where he treated athletes with any injuries that arose. When encompassing treatment, Dr. Proce utilizes his experience, each patient’s unique experiences and symptoms, and evidence-based research to customize each treatment plan.

His interests revolve around the neurological system by combining neuromuscular rehabilitation and nutritional support. When not attending to his patients, Dr. Proce enjoys continuing his education through research and supplemental lectures and seminars. Outside the classroom, Dr. Proce enjoys traveling, stand-up paddleboarding, scuba diving, white-water rafting, surfing, fishing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
