Dr. Mariah Elser is a new resident of Ocean County, New Jersey and who grew up in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She graduated summa cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer Honors College? in 2021 with a bachelor of science in biological anthropology with minors in spanish, biology, and classics and ancient Mediterranean studies. She then followed her love of anatomy and continued on to complete her doctorate of chiropractic degree and graduated with honors from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly known as New York Chiropractic College) in the fall of 2024. For 16 years, Dr. Mariah danced a number of techniques but her favorites were ballet and modern. As an adult, she has taken up weight-lifting and hopes to return to dance in the near future. Her biggest passion is women’s health. She spent her time at Northeast College establishing a "Women in Chiropractic Club" to help educate her fellow chiropractic students on the specialized needs and care of women and other minorities. Dr. Mariah uses her experience with athletes, performers, and people of all backgrounds when treating and emphasizes education and patient-centered care. She enjoys incorporating a range of treatments into her care, including soft tissue massage (both manual and instrument-assisted), osseous adjusting, cupping, electronic stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound, and various other evidence-based modalities.
