Dr. Katherine Valiant is a Board-Certified Occupational Therapist originally from Lacey Township, NJ. She graduated from Lacey Township High School in 2012 and went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation while attending East Carolina University In 2016. Katherine continued her education at Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida, where she achieved her Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy in 2019. She began her career in Occupational Therapy, working with individuals diagnosed with varying neurological impairments. This opportunity expanded her therapeutic skill set, interpersonal client relation skills, and insights on functioning within a multidisciplinary team. Katherine is excited to join the Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine team so she can follow her passion of assisting individuals in restoring their function and quality of life. When out of the office, she enjoys cooking, bike riding, and exploring new places.
