Corey Albanese

Corey Albanese MSN, APN, FNP-BC, CEN, CPEN is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Corey attended William Paterson University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After many years as a bedside nurse in cardiac surgery and emergency medicine, she felt the need to further her nursing career. She completed her Master of Science in the Nursing program through Chamberlain University, graduating with distinction. Corey obtained national certifications in Emergency Medicine (CEN) and Pediatric Emergency Medicine (CPEN) through her sixteen-year registered nurse career. Corey is passionate about treating the mind, body, and emotional needs of the patient. She finds holistic, collaborative care as the best approach to wellness along with an active patient participation. She finds great joy and feels comfortable treating patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics. Although patient care brings Corey happiness, her favorite roles are wife and mother. Corey is happily married to her college sweetheart and she has the sweetest Transformer-obsessed twin boys. She comes from a large family and they can often be found together in their spare time. Her fantastic family helped shape her career path in family medicine. Aside from family, Corey enjoys raising her six backyard chickens and is active in the Ocean County 4-H community along with her children. The Albanese family recently adopted a Lhasa Apso puppy Trypticon Titan “Trip” with whom they are smitten.
