Clement Ayuen is a native New Yorker. He has also lived in Los Angeles, CA and Tampa, FL prior to relocating to Central Jersey. He has completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and received his Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Southern California University in Los Angeles, CA. He became a licensed Acupuncturist in 2011 after passing both the California state board examination and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certification. Clement has always been interested in complementary medicine because of his exposure to Traditional Chinese Medicine as he was growing up. He has always felt that the best path in healing is through a multidisciplinary approach which is why he is very excited to be part of Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine’s family of integrated practitioners. He treats all types of pain-related conditions including mental, emotional, and digestive disorders. He utilizes various acupuncture techniques and styles such as moxibustion, gua sha, and cupping. During his free time, he enjoys reading, watching Netflix and outdoor activities. He likes long walks, hiking, camping, cruising, exploring and long road trips.
