Caitlyn Smith

Caitlyn Smith is a Board-Certified Occupational Therapist with a license to practice in the State of New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University where she did extensive research in Psychology and assisted in the development of a Media Literacy program for at-risk youth. She graduated from Rutgers University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology/Communication Studies and went on to achieve a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Kean University in 2019. During her graduate studies, she assisted in the development of evidence-based home programs for stroke survivors with spatial neglect. During her fieldwork rotations, Caitlyn gained experience working with adults in the inpatient acute care setting and pediatrics in the school for children with physical disabilities. Upon graduating, Caitlyn obtained a job at a pediatric outpatient facility where she became passionate about continuing education. She is passionate about her work and is dedicated to providing high quality, client-centered care. Caitlyn is excited to be a part of Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine to advance her clinical skills and help clients reach their fullest potential through reducing pain and promoting functional independence so they can return to their meaningful activities. In her free time, Caitlyn enjoys listening to podcasts, drawing, yoga, hikes with her dog and spending time with family and friends.
