Bridget Karkovice

FNP-BC

Bridget Karkovice, FNP-BC, brings to the practice a unique blend of clinical expertise, holistic philosophy, and a lifelong passion for health and wellness. Bridget began her healthcare journey at St. Francis Medical Center where she graduated from RN school and went on to earn both her BSN and MSN from George Washington University. Her strong foundation in primary care is complimented by a deep commitment to treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Bridget built a lifelong career in the fitness industry. She was a competitive gymnast and cheerleader and later went on to compete in NPC bodybuilding competitions. Her years as a personal trainer gave her a robust background in fitness and nutrition which she now integrates into her nursing practice.

Bridget’s approach to care is rooted in holistic principles and she is an active member of the American Holistic Nursing Association. She believes in empowering patients to achieve optimal health through lifestyle, prevention, and compassionate support.

Outside of her professional life, Bridget enjoys watching her son play ice hockey and her daughter play basketball. She shares her home with two playful Bernedoodle puppies, tends to a thriving collection of houseplants, and loves spending time in the kitchen cooking for her family.
