Allizey Shields is a board-certified Occupational Therapist from Eatontown, New Jersey. She attended The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ where she received her Bachelor of Science in Health & Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology in 2019. She continued her education at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA where she received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2021. Allizey completed her first clinical fieldwork rotation at an outpatient rehab department treating patients with different musculoskeletal, vision, and neurological conditions. She completed her second fieldwork rotation at a pediatric rehabilitation department seeing pediatric patients in acute care, outpatient, and early intervention. Allizey is excited to join the multidisciplinary Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine team and use Occupational Therapy to help her patients improve their quality of life. She wants to help patients reduce pain and improve function to be able to live their lives to the fullest! In her spare time, Allizey enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, reading, cooking, and going to the beach.
