AlexaRae Cuollo, COTA/L, is from Manalapan, NJ. She attended Kean University in Union, NJ and received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2015. After learning that her cousin was diagnosed with autism and her love for helping others, AlexaRae changed her career path and attended Keiser University in Fort Myers, FL to obtain her AS degree to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant in 2021. Alexarae completed her fieldwork at an outpatient pediatrics facility and also at Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine in Little Egg Harbor, NJ. She has also volunteered helping special needs children, ages 10-17, to gain cognitive and physical new skills. AlexaRae joined the Thompson team in July 2021 & is excited to begin her career as a COTA on their multidisciplinary team. She is eager to learn and help patients reduce pain, increase function and help them be as independent as possible within their daily lives. In AlexaRae’s free time, she enjoys playing the ukulele, drawing and journaling, participating in outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends as much as possible.
