Dr. Lauren Baranyay

PT, DPT

Lauren was born and raised in Bayville, New Jersey and attended Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River. She then went on to Quinnipiac University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. While at school, Lauren had her research entitled “Rearfoot and Forefoot Kinematics in Injured and Non-injured Runners” published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise and was presented at the 57th Annual Meeting and Inaugural World Congress on Exercise is Medicine of the American College of Sports and Medicine. Lauren believes in utilizing hands-on techniques such as Mulligan, McKenzie, PNF, Great Lakes, and Cyriax treatment approach, with a focus on hands-on manual therapy techniques, manipulation, myofascial release, joint mobilizations, muscle energy techniques, vestibular rehabilitation and whole body strengthening. As a Physical Therapist, Lauren believes individualized care for each patient ensuring quality education about a patient’s diagnosis and optimal recovery to improve function and overall quality of life. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach and traveling.
