Kathy Hoch is an Ocean County native and is a graduate of Seton Hall University, where she majored in Nuclear Medicine Technology. She worked in radiology as a licensed nuclear medicine technologist for over 20 years, with a specialty in nuclear cardiology. She became interested in acupuncture after having a treatment which helped with an injury and saw the value in it so much that she decided to enroll at the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Bloomfield, NJ where she graduated and is now a NJ and NY state licensed acupuncturist. While in acupuncture school, she participated in an externship program at the Veterans Hospital in East Orange, NJ, which trained her in pain management, PTSD, and anxiety. She also studied Kiiko Matsumoto Japanese acupuncture and electroacupuncture. She has a special interest in the treatment of autoimmune diseases, nutrition and other methods of alternative medicine. In her leisure time, Kathy enjoys swimming, bicycling, and spending time at the beach.
