Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Rebecca grew up on a small dairy farm before attending Michigan State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Anthropology. After graduating from MSU, Rebecca moved to Chicago to pursue a career in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, where she earned her Master's and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.
During her time in Chicago, Rebecca completed additional training in Women's Health and in Public Health with the Chicago Women's Health Center and Acupuncturists Without Borders. In 2016, Rebecca joined Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine and has continued to pursue specialized training in Trigger Point Needling, Dao Needling, Essential Oils, and Guasha. She especially enjoys treating endurance athletes, anxiety and autoimmune disorders. In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys exploring the hiking trails throughout the Northeast, exploring the national parks, looking for beach glass, traveling and reading.
