Dr. Karishma Patel is a Jersey girl from Absecon, New Jersey. She attended Rutgers University where she majored in Biochemistry. While shadowing a chiropractor, Dr. Karishma witnessed a man who was carried into the clinic walk out under his own power after a chiropractic treatment. Dr. Karishma appreciated the ability to get quick and effective results with conservative treatment and decided to pursue a chiropractic degree. She graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2014. Dr. Karishma has special interests in Sports Medicine, Spinal Injuries, and Functional Neurology. She will soon be acquiring her Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACBN) accreditation. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new cities, lifting weights and expanding her taste buds!
