Chelsea G. Reinert

Dr. Chelsea G. Reinert, DAOM, L.Ac., is board-certified by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Texas. She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, San Diego with her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, attained her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, New York and received her bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University.

Dr. Reinert’s graduate studies included a concentration in the application of acupuncture for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She works extensively with patients in treating a wide array of musculoskeletal conditions causing acute and chronic pain. She integrates diagnostic measures to distinguish the precise cause of musculoskeletal pain and utilizes a specific needling technique called Motor Point Therapy, which restores strength and function to the muscles, helping to prevent further weakness and imbalance. Dr. Reinert has direct clinical experience and positive results in the treatment of chronic and acute pain conditions. She recently returned back to New Jersey after working in Fort Hood, Texas, for the Army
Civilian Corps. Dr. Reinert has been acknowledged with the Achievement Medal Award for Civilian Service by the Department of the Army for her outstanding performance of duty while serving as a Licensed Acupuncturist in the Interdisciplinary Pain Management Center, Department of Rehabilitative Services. She distinguished herself by her professionalism and dedication to patient rehabilitation. Prior to the Army Civilian Corps, she had been involved with programs at New York University Langone Medical Center- Initiative for Women with Disabilities, providing acupuncture treatments for pain, side effects of medication, symptoms, and/or chronic illness. Dr. Reinert has also performed NADA Protocol at The Fortunes Society, to help support the re-entry process into a society of incarcerated individuals. As a spouse of a veteran, Dr. Reinert has a personal connection working with Veterans who suffer from chronic pain, among other ailments.

She has vast experience working with PTSD, TBI, chronic pain, and autoimmune disorders. She continues to be amazed by the practical effectiveness of this ancient art and science of healing and its power to help people find relief from their ailments. She enjoys treating all manner of diseases and has a special interest in chronic degenerative conditions, autoimmune conditions, pain conditions, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She is delighted to bring her knowledge of Chinese Medicine to her newest location and values every opportunity she has to help patients overcome and manage their ailments. She enjoys collaborating with patients to assist them in their journey towards ultimate health and wellness.
