Adam Nelson is a FNP (Family Nurse Practitioner) and a native of Monmouth County. Adam did his undergraduate work at Drew University, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Biology while playing soccer and swimming. He continued his education by receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Seton Hall and then getting his Master's Degree of Nursing from Monmouth University. Adam has experience in orthopedics, general surgery, and emergency medicine as a registered nurse for the last six years. He approaches medicine in a comprehensive and holistic way to help his patients achieve the best possible outcomes. Adam is ecstatic to be at Thompson Healthcare & Sports Medicine and be a part of this growing family. In his time off, Adam can be found traveling the world. He's been to New Zealand, Chile and Thailand to name a few. If he's not traveling, Adam can be found at the beach with his face in a book, at the gym or outside looking for his next big adventure.
